Sophia is a writer, adventurer, and fangirl for women of experience. She has written memoir, essays, and YA and is currently at work on her first cozy mystery. Her memoir, Love in Condition Yellow: A Memoir of an Unlikely Marriage (Beacon Press, 2009) grew out of a New York Times Modern Love column, and was selected for the Indie Next List. LICY chronicles Sophia’s courtship and marriage to her military officer-turned policeman husband, in which they confront many of the divisions facing the country overall.
