Maxine is an exceptional teacher and I feel fortunate to have had 5 weeks with her. Kristin Priesman, Teacher for Second Grade
All the in-class exercises were very valuable; so was the "homework." An excellent introduction to the field and ideas for moving forward. Ms. Schur is terrific; I would take more classes from her. She got me writing again! Stephanie Wildman, Attorney

Sam Savin, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Case Western Reserve University.
I thought Maxine Rose Schur's remarks on the relations of writing to theater training as kinds of imaginative play were very interesting. They will no doubt be of use to our own students in their efforts to write for children. Tom Bishop, Associate Professor of English and Director of the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, Case Western Reserve University
Thank you again for your wisdom and inspiration Maxine. So grateful to have met you. Your method of teaching was exactly what I needed to motivate me to start writing again.
I was also so pleased to have met three women on the same path to writing that I am on. I learned something I have applied to my story from each of you. Thank you!
