Kristen Cosby is the author of several essays, short-stories, and articles. Her writing has received generous support from the Jan Michalski Foundation, the Corporation of Yaddo, the MacDowell Artist Colony, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and garnered the Normal Prize in Nonfiction and a Pushcart Prize Special Mention. Her work has appeared in The Normal School, The Normal School Online, Kenyon Review Online, Alaska Quarterly Review, Fourth Genre, Creative Nonfiction, Pitt Med Magazine, Proto, and has been anthologized in The Pleasure Principle and The Moment. She works primarily with new writers who are foraying into memoir and personal narrative.
