His nonfiction has been published in Wired, Slate, Rolling Stone, Vulture, Giant Robot, and Alta Journal. His fiction has appeared in Flash Fiction Online, Shacklebound Books, and Underland Press. His humor writing has been shortlisted by Uncharted. His film “How the Original Futurama Transmuted America” just won Best Short Documentary in the Silver Screen Film Festival. He also writes Pop Cultural Precursors, an online newsletter and zine tracing the origin stories of the latest trends in the zeitgeist.
