Celeste Chan is a writer and filmmaker. Since moving to San Francisco in 2004, she founded and directed Queer Rebels (a queer and trans people of color arts project), created and screened experimental films, joined Foglifter as an editor and now board member, created a one-woman show titled (Re)generation, and toured with Sister Spit. Her work can be found in Ada, AWAY, cream city review, Gertrude, and other literary journals. Her work has been supported by Bread Loaf as a Rona Jaffe Scholar, Hedgebrook, Lambda Literary, Mesa Refuge, SF Arts Commission, Soaring Gardens, VONA, and beyond. She is a teaching artist with the Queer Ancestors Project.
